Katie MacDonald

Katie is an entrepreneurship enthusiast with experience in international development, business acceleration and strategic partnership creation within the cleantech sector.

As Greentown Labs’ Director of Strategic Partnerships Katie is responsible for catalyzing Greentown’s corporate innovation programs, investor program and external partnerships.

As the former Executive Director of Cleantech Open Northeast, Katie led the region’s premier cleantech business accelerator for three years. Under Katie’s leadership, the accelerator saw record breaking application numbers, a 100% recommendation rate from startups, and the first National prize in the Northeast history. In 2016, she represented Cleantech Open at the White House for World Water Day.

Katie has worked for organizations including, the World Bank and 350.org to build programs and services for sustainable social impact.

Katie was awarded a ‘Top 25 under 25 Award’ from the city of Boston in 2015.
